The items include TLF-built content and content licenced from other sources. TLF's catalogues will now give more prominence to the digital resources available to support the strands, topics and themes covered in each subject area. Where relevant, the catalogues now contain partner institution pages which briefly describe the mission of the institutions that provide content to TLF. Each page will also include representative examples and descriptions of items the partner institution provides.

Thematic collections, which draw together relevant content items from different TLF sources (including learning objects) are also included in some catalogues.
