About content
TLF develops high-quality digital curriculum content in two formats: interactive, multimedia learning objects and digital resources.
Learning objects
Learning objects are interactive multimedia resources that combine still and moving images, text, audio and animation. They aim to engage and motivate students and support their learning of concepts and skills in a range of curriculum areas in the P–12 years. TLF learning objects are based on the most recent research into how children learn and how teachers can facilitate learning. They provide opportunities for multimodal learning not normally possible in the standard classroom because of complexity, safety, time or cost.

Digital resources
TLF makes available thousands of resources in digital form that are significant and meaningful on their own, useful for teaching and learning and not otherwise readily accessible. In contrast to learning objects, which have in-built instructional design, digital resources are single items which teachers and students can use in a range of flexible ways to suit their own curriculum needs.
