Digital curriculum content - disc 1

This DVD contains details about the digital curriculum content made available by The Le@rning Federation (TLF) to all schools in Australia and New Zealand. The content includes:

  • hundreds of interactive learning and assessment objects to support and enhance students’ understanding of key concepts in a range of contexts over the P–12 years.
  • a large and diverse range of digitised items such as images, film clips, maps, songs, posters and documents, all with detailed teachers’ notes, to support teaching and learning across a variety of curriculum areas.

Browse catalogues

Browse descriptions of the digital curriculum content through the Catalogues. You can also view and use the content directly from the links within each catalogue.

Search TLF content

Both learning objects and digital resources can be searched by keyword using the search tool. In addition, learning objects can be searched by year level and curriculum area and digital resources can be searched by file type, for example, video, audio or image.

When the results from your search are returned:

  • select the title to directly launch the learning object or the digital resource
  • select 'More ...' for further description. The learning object or digital resource can be launched from the description page.

Using this DVD

All content on this DVD is for educational purposes only. You can load this material onto your school network or onto teachers' computers. You are able to copy this DVD and burn additional copies. You may not put it on a publically accessible website or server. Further information can be found in Conditions of use.

Accessing content

Many schools already have access to the full suite of content through their state or territory education sector. For further information about access, please refer to the Access information on TLF's website.

Technical notes

You can check that you have the appropriate software installed on your computer to view the digital content by using TLF's analyser tool. Please note you need to be connected to the Internet for the analyser to work.

When copying the contents of the DVD to your network server, please copy the entire contents, including the file structure, to preserve the browse and search functions.

All recently published learning objects work in Firefox browsers, however some earlier learning objects are not yet compatible. In addition, links in pdf documents, e.g. catalogues, do not work in some web browsers. The full functionality of the catalogues is available using Internet Explorer.
